Which Pets Can Be Brought?

You can legally bring your pets such as cats, dogs and birds (except poultry) to Turkey.

Required Documents:

Microchip: It is mandatory that your pet is identified with a microchip in accordance with ISO 11784 and HDX or FDX-B technology.

Rabies Vaccination: Your pet must have been vaccinated against rabies for at least 30 days and no more than 12 months before entering Turkey, and the vaccination certificate must be up-to-date.

Health Certificate: It can be washed by an authorized veterinarian and you must have a health certificate approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey.
