According to Cevkiroğlu's statement:
• Prices: Housing prices increased by an average of 5-10% compared to the last quarter of 2023. Fluctuations in the exchange rate and increasing construction costs were effective in this increase. On the other hand, an increase of 20-30% was observed in rental housing prices. This is due to increased demand for housing and limited supply of rental housing.
• Sales: Home sales decreased by 10-15% compared to the last quarter of 2023. Economic uncertainties and high interest rates are believed to have contributed to this decline. Demand for rental housing remains high. Therefore, there may be difficulties in finding rental housing.
• Expert Opinions: Cevkiroğlu predicts that Alanya real estate market will continue to grow steadily for the rest of 2024. The main reasons for this are that Alanya is a tourism center and tourism is increasing, investments are increasing and population growth.
• Risks: Cevkiroğlu said that there are also some risks that could negatively affect the real estate market. These risks include uncertainties in the economy, fluctuations in the exchange rate, rising construction costs and the limited supply of new housing.
